MiMA
Developed by Related Rentals, the minds that imagined the Time Warner building, MiMA is an edifice of luxury rentals, condominiums and retail. Designed by one of the world's leading architecture and design firms, Arquitectonica, MiMA is a stunning new addition to the Manhattan skyline - a 63-story glass wall residential tower featuring 50 floors of luxury rentals, 151 tower condominiums plus a new 669-room Yotel, exciting new retail and dining experiences and the all-new Signature Theatre Center with three separate performance spaces designed by Frank Gehry. Inspired by New York streets and style, MiMA was designed to reflect and cater to the lifestyle, personality and New York sensibility of its residents.
The 44,000 s/f of amenities sprawls out over an acre and includes an Equinox fitness center, four party rooms, private screening rooms and Dog City, a space that includes a grooming station, play area, a dog treadmill and even an outdoor dog park.
MiMA’s anticipated LEED Silver certification reflects Related’s industry-leading commitment to sustainability. To save energy, minimize waste and lower residents’ energy bills, MiMA features the latest in high performance technologies, including hybrid heat pumps, LED lighting, daylight sensor-controlled artificial lighting, the recovery of waste heat from one system for beneficial use in another, EnergyStar appliances and water smart plumbing fixtures.
MiMA is also one of the first buildings to feature a distribution antenna system which enhances cell phone service throughout the building and ensures residents on various carriers will have reception.
