 The Greater New York Councils, Boy Scouts of America selected Martin Daly, Director of Training at the Labor Technical College at the NYC District Council of Carpenters, to receive the 2009 “Good Scout” Award. The dinner was held on Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at 6:00pm at Marina Del Rey in Throgs Neck, New York.
The “Good Scout” Annual Award Dinner is a principle fundraiser for the Greater New York Councils, Boy Scouts of America. Each year this recognition is presented to those who exemplify in their daily lives the ideals of the Boy Scouts of America as expressed in the Scout Oath and Law. Recipients were chosen for their outstanding community service, as evidenced by their leadership to many worthwhile organizations, as well as the respect and esteem in which they are held by their colleagues. |
